Acer Aspire Lite 14 – SSD Damage Due to Loose Hinge Screws Repaired

Right hinge mounting screws came loose and were free inside the casing.

A screw made contact with electronic components, causing an electrical short.

One screw lodged under the M.2 SSD, causing severe damage to the SSD (beyond repair, all data lost).
Work Done:

Dismantled the laptop
-
Set hinge tension, cleaned, and lubricated hinges
-
Cleaned motherboard, connectors, CPU/GPU, heatsink, and fan
-
Applied new thermal paste to CPU/GPU
-
Cleaned M.2 connector, tested with new M.2 SSD
-
Installed new SSD, reloaded Windows and configured system
-
Final testing and full clean completed
